Chandragupta Maurya was the founder of the Maurya Empire in ancient India. Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj was a Multidimensional Maratha King and father of Indian Navy, who has set many great examples of leadership. He established a competent and progressive civil rule with well-structured administrative organizations. The prevalent practices of treating women as war booty, destruction of religious monuments, slavery and forceful religious conversions were firmly opposed under his administration. He also innovated rules of military engagement of that era. He pioneered "Shiva sutra" or Ganimi Kava (guerrilla tactics), which leveraged strategic factors like demographics, speed, surprise and focused attack to defeat his bigger and more powerful enemies. Non-discriminative culture, respect for all religions, woman safety & esteem, justice and equality are some of the highlights of his rule.

Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose was a great freedom fighter, a born leader, an idealist and a man of action. He sacrificed himself for the freedom of his country. He was elected twice as the president of Congress in 1938 and 1939. However, he resigned from the post and formed the Forward Bloc in 1939. Bose managed to escape the close vigilance of British. Thereafter, he passed through Afghanistan, reached Rome and from there he went to Germany. Hitler promised him every support. This enabled him to organize a national army in Berlin. Netaji came from Berlin to Japan and then went to Singapore. He then organized the well-known Indian National Army or I.N.A. It is popularly known as Azad Hind Fauj.
